Dodge Journey- Great car with lots of storage.

The Journey is a classy looking 5 passenger car with a ton of storage. I really enjoy the great visibility I have of the road when driving. I really like the large side mirrors as well.. The ride is quiet and smooth. Mine has the v-6 engine and has lots of pickup which is nice when merging into highway traffic. I am female over 65 and this car is a dream to drive. I have plenty of space for friends or shopping sprees.

Pros

  • Fuel Economy: I am getting close to 20 mpg in the city which is great for a car this size.
  • Cargo Space: It is amazing how much cargo space the Journey has. I especially like all the hidden storage found under the seats. This car is a gem!!!!

Great car overall at an affordable price point

This had the same features that my 2012 Durango had and more! Great gas mileage. Has great acceleration but the braking system needs some work. The Radio/Climate/Seat Warmers/GPS controls are all run through an 8 inch LCD screen. My only complaint is that the software freezes from time to time which is very annoying but when it does work smoothly then its an outstanding feature. Tons of space in 2nd row and cargo area.

Pros

  • Cargo Space: Perfect for groceries and pets
  • Dashboard: Very informative and buttons conveniently located
  • Power: Good acceleration

Cons

  • Technology and Entertainment: LCD screen software freezes often
  • Braking: Brake system needs attention from Dodge. Slow to brake

DODGES ARE CHEAP BUT NOT CHEAP

Great power, seats 7, nice restyled interior, comfort. Was going to get explorer but would of paid 10 k more for larger harder to park vehicle, 2 years older, 30 k more miles, poorer interior, less power, and constant fear of engine leaks, and transfer case failure, type of vehicle. My dodge was the right coice.

Pros

  • Dashboard:
  • Power:
  • Value:
