Though, I haven't drove the car that long, I think the car is very good. I had to get used to "the feel" of the car first because I was used to a smaller frame but I'm very pleased.
Nitro Fit the Profile
2008 Dodge NitroFire Power - Madera, CA10/12/2010
I would like to say that I was looking for a vehicle that would provide easy handling and comfort, since my occupation keeps me on the road at least 65% of the time.
What I am getting from my Dodge Nitro provides just that. It has enough pep for traveling uphill and enough comfort for general driving long stretches.
I would recommend you at least test driving andyou will agree it is worth the money in comparison ot other vehicles in its class.
2008 Dodge Nitrorscon - Houston, TX09/02/2011
My 2008 Nitro gave me good highway mileage (avg. 20/mpg), had adequate accelerating power, and a pretty good smooth riding on long drives. Only setback I felt was whenever I made a turn or hit a bump, the Nitro seemed to jump slightly out of traction. It may be that I may need better tires. I would recommend this vehicle to my friends. It is roomy on the inside and has adequate storage space. I would prefer a tailgate type of trunk door.
I hope to invest in a newer used model or a new Nitro for my next vehicle.
