Nitro R/T is a well assembled vehicle. Good engine power and a bit touchy throttle response. Shifter is less than smooth with the notched detents, but getting used to its "feel" is quick. Steering is quick off-center and has good but light feedback. The car tracks perfectly, returns to center well and does not require constant correction to stay in lanes on th open highway.
Seats in this model are very comfortable, with firm bolsters and deep cushions. Passenger space is quite good for this wheel base. Driver floor space is a bit compromised by an overly large bulge to accommodate the transfer case underneath.
Quiet but firm ride. Shock damping is a bit weak but the car corners flat - little body roll. Two round trips to Las Vegas confirms that this car can be a good long distance cruiser. Highway mileage is 24-25 at 70+ speeds.
Visbility from the drivers position is good, in spite of the "high beltline." Rearward sight lines are good, with the backup assist a welcomed option.
The car gets lots of looks and favorable comments. Mine is Black, with color coordinated bumpers and grill - a very agressive look. The 20 inch chrome wheels and Hi Performance low profile tires fill the wheel wells nicely.

From the front it looks like something out of Star Wars. It wants to be let loose to travel like a rocket under control. It has the power and space to go anywhere.
