Nitro 2008

My 2008 Nitro gave me good highway mileage (avg. 20/mpg), had adequate accelerating power, and a pretty good smooth riding on long drives. Only setback I felt was whenever I made a turn or hit a bump, the Nitro seemed to jump slightly out of traction. It may be that I may need better tires. I would recommend this vehicle to my friends. It is roomy on the inside and has adequate storage space. I would prefer a tailgate type of trunk door. I hope to invest in a newer used model or a new Nitro for my next vehicle.

2008 Dodge Nitro

I have had my Nitro for about six months now and have been happy with it. When I purchased it, it came with the flashy 20" chrome wheels that have no place on a 4x4. I traded down to the 17's and some beefier tires (stock Goodyear tires leave much to be desired) The performance from the engine of the nitro is more than enough (keeping in mind its not a race car) and the mileage is decent, although I could have gotten a v8 for 14mpg city and 20 highway. The quality of the car seems to be good so far: the only major problem I had was an overflowing gas tank during fill-up, but that problem was covered under the 30 day warranty (replaced gas tank and filler neck) Comfort: nice and roomy- I can fit my whole family in the car comfortably and the shortest one of us is 6' tall. Seats start to get a little hard on long road trips, but that is true with most vehicles.

2008 nitro

I love the nitro, Its a good looking suv, the mirrors seem a little small! I like the way it turns, It'll turn on a dime!! like the power, but If this nitro make it 150,000 to 200,000 thousand miles or more I would get another one!! Hopefully with better mpg!! but great suv!!
