Dodge Nitro R/T - fun
2008 Dodge NitroAlmost a motorhead - Sherman, TX07/19/2011
I usually shop for vehicles with a lot of research over several months before buying. I wanted something sporty looking with at least a hint of performance on the road. After a lot of research and considering different vehicles, I chose a Dodge Nitro R/T. I love driving and wanted something that was easier on my back than my previous vehicle which was a small, economical sedan. If your back does not like your current car, definitely consider a small SUV like the Nitro. The Nitro, specifically the R/T version with big 20" wheels looks sporty and has more than enough acceleration with the 4.0 liter engine. I have had many compliments on the looks and I love driving it. Fuel economy is decent but not good averaging almost 17 mpg with my combined city and highway driving. The leather seats are great and the stereo with subwoofer is awesome. The dash, knobs, levers and controls are simple and easy to use but a bit cheap feeling. Overall I am enjoying it but gave it only 4 stars overall due to fuel economy and a bit of cheapness with all the plastic on the interior. I would definitely recommend this vehicle to family and friends that are in the market for a small SUV.
