The 4wd option is a bonus as you never know when you might need it. accessories are easy to get and installing them looks very easy. con gas mileage. somewhere between 16 and 17 mpg in city driving. Hwy driving is closet to 20 to 21. storage is great as you have many compartments to put stuff.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Orange Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.474 reviews) I've owned my Nitro RT, from new. I bought it on Oct. 31, 2007. It had a couple hickups with the HVAC system. Okay. virtually every part of it was replaced under warranty. Aside from that, I've put 112,000 miles on it and had only a few small things break. Window regulator. Window button. Key FOB. I was looking at other new SUV's like the Highlander and Murano, and have decided to keep my Nitro. It's worth putting in the $3,000 of 100,000 mile maintenance on. The biggest down side to the Nitro? Suuuuuuper chinsey interior. But I guess that developement money was spent on better mechanics. I'm super happy with my RT!

The nitro is a very comfortable ride I give it 4 stars only because the gas mileage isn't the best if you need a car for long daily drives this truck isn't the best due to gas. But I you are not worried about the best gas mileage then get it. I love it great sound system has many options such as navigation and also has a DVD player. My Nitro is a sharp looking truck and all my friends like it and have complimented me on it. It also tows my boat with no problems. It has a very strong V6.

I was coming out of an Isuzu Ascender and wanted something sporty and cute.Handles well and is responsive but with the low profile tires you feel every bump. 4 wheel drive great for midwest winters.Fully loaded with heated front seats and sunroof for Mom and the VES so the kids can watch movies in the back. All this standard for my R/T in Inferno Red. HOT!

I found a great deal on a 2011 heat with very low mileage. I love this truck and haven't had a many problems! Would highly recommend to someone in the market for a nice SUV with a huge price tag!

2007 Dodge Nitro

The Dodge Nitro is an excellent choice for the discerning driver. The Nitro feels solid and handles very well, particularly in tough driving conditions (rain, wind, snow). The V-6 engine performs well and seems to love it when there is a need to accelerate. This particular vehicle grew on me. My wife owns one and I got to ride in it as a passenger. But, I wasn't sold on it until the blizzards of 2010 hit the Washington area (30 inches of snow). The Nitro performed exceptionally well. I really like the concept of being able to switch from 2 to 4-wheel drive as needed. This feature really comes in handy when "Mother Nature" decides to remind us who is in charge. The Nitro is also quite comfortable. Other than a need for a little more leg room under the driver's side, the vehicle is great for individual and family use. It is tough, dependable and fun to drive. The sound system is superb! I recommend adding: remote start, blue-tooth and satellite radio.
