This is my third Ram truck in a row, dating back to 1997. The two old ones are still in use, both with over 100K. Tough trucks. I like the power of Ram trucks both gas and diesel and the new Hemi really moves. My mechanic tells me to use semi synthetic oil because the valve lifters clog up. Time will tell if this truck is as durable as the last two but it preforms very well now.
Great Power and Maneuverability for a Truck
2015 Dodge Ram 1500Shea H - Huntington Beach, CA12/10/2016
The power and towing capacity of a fullsize truck with the handling and maneuverability of a midsize truck. I have no problem parking this thing in the city or busy parking structures. Models after 2014 have a much more appealing interior design. This is a great truck for the price.
I drive 25k+ miles a year so I spend a decent amount of time behind the wheel. The ride and seats are extremely comfortable, and I never get sore while driving. I have the v6 with the 8 speed, and average around 21 on the highway.Towing an 18ft fishing boat average around 15. I prefer the v6 over the hemi, the v6 is quieter, takes low octane gas (hemi takes midgrade), and much lower cost to maintain. Truck has never been in the shop other than oil changes.
