Customer Review Summary for Dodge Ram 2500
Great deal on a great truck
2015 Dodge Ram 2500Tyler Van Horne - Euless, TX12/31/2016
I upgraded from a 2007 Tundra 5.7, to this RAM 2500 with the 6.7 Cummins diesel. I have a travel trailer RV that I take out very often, and I wanted more power for safety especially accelerating on the highway, more stability, and more comfort options so my wife would enjoy the drives better. The Laramie package had everything we needed, and the next package up was the Bighorn which was about $10K more but I didn't feel at all like you got $10K worth of upgrades.
One thing that surprises me about this truck is how good on gas it is when not towing, for it's weight and engine size. I am seeing MPG in the 30's when not towing, 15 when towing.
I have never owned a Dodge(RAM) product before but I am happy with it.
Dodge diesel, the only way to go!
2008 Dodge Ram 2500Coyoteman - Las Vegas Nv.06/18/2012
I bought a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 6.7 Cummins diesel, to pull a very large trailer. My F150 Ford just wouldn't get the job done on the hills. This truck will pull my trailer up the side of a building if I wanted! Great truck! So far, I would buy another one in a heart beat. If you need to pull, go Dodge, go diesel.
Everything in it is well thought out and details matter. There are a few little things that you would expect in a truck at the highest trim level. For example, power folding mirrors. This truck has wide mirrors for towing and it would be nice to fit into a parking spot and fold the side mirrors with the push of a button. Similarly, front parking sensors and mud flaps would be appreciated. These are options that don't cost a lot more but should be standard features for the top of the line Longhorn Laramie Ram.
A truck can offer the perfect blend of utility and power. The sturdy truck bed carries all the tools needed to get a tough job done, and the engine and its torque can help tow all the equipment. With that in mind, different trucks have different towing options. Whether it’s towing for work or the family vacation, here are seven used trucks that excel at pulling their weight.
