2005 Dodge Ram 2500Wheeler - San Antonio, TX10/20/2010
Love my truck. First personal Dodge, but the 6th in the family. Have been around diesels for nearly 45 years in one capacity or another and was always impressed with the efficiency of compression engines. Horsepower and torque one only dreams of when driving a gasoline powered vehicle. The Dodge 2500/3500 series trucks use the Cummins diesel engine which has a unique and very positive reputation. This truck is tractible, very comfortable and will be just getting broken in when it reaches 100,000 miles. You won't be disappointed.
The ad said 12/14 for fuel mileage, that wasn't even close! I get 18/23. Diesel is the new "Hot Rod" With a few preformance additions, you will be very happy with a diesel! I won't likely ever buy a gas engine ever again. I get 16 mpg pulling a 25' travel trailer, don't waste your $'s on a gas engine.
A truck can offer the perfect blend of utility and power. The sturdy truck bed carries all the tools needed to get a tough job done, and the engine and its torque can help tow all the equipment. With that in mind, different trucks have different towing options. Whether it’s towing for work or the family vacation, here are seven used trucks that excel at pulling their weight.
Here’s a look at some of our best half ton trucks and other full size pickups. These 10 tough trucks are tall and capable, and handle weekend work jobs as easily as they get you to and from work during the week.
