2008 Dodge Ram 2500Coyoteman - Las Vegas Nv.06/18/2012
I bought a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 6.7 Cummins diesel, to pull a very large trailer. My F150 Ford just wouldn't get the job done on the hills. This truck will pull my trailer up the side of a building if I wanted! Great truck! So far, I would buy another one in a heart beat. If you need to pull, go Dodge, go diesel.

The acceleration is a little slower if your used to a Hemi, but when towing this diesel just won't stop pulling. Getting on the freeway hauling a 7000lb. load was a breeze! It's even great on fuel. We've seen 22-23mpg highway and about 18-19mpg doing 75MPH. This thing is truly a beast. Even towing we got 15mpg. The only downside is the longer wheel base makes sharp turns difficult and forget going through a fast food drive through. All in all my family loves this truck.
A truck can offer the perfect blend of utility and power. The sturdy truck bed carries all the tools needed to get a tough job done, and the engine and its torque can help tow all the equipment. With that in mind, different trucks have different towing options. Whether it’s towing for work or the family vacation, here are seven used trucks that excel at pulling their weight.
