We bought a 2006 2500 4 Door Quad Cab with 4WD Auto and the Cummins Diesel from Carmax with 46K miles. The truck looks great and runs very well. Fuel mileage in the 18's with the diesel is nice. Pulls and handles loads just fine. With proper care the truck should last well into the 250K mile range.
I like the truck, the seats are a bit thin for me - I'm 6'2" and 230 lbs, my son thinks they are fine. The interior quality of the Dodge Truck Product is not the same level as the Ford Truck Product. I have a 2001 F250 Diesel with 150K that the interior is excellent in, I have noticed some seat fabric wear already in the Dodge. However it is a minor issue and seat covers are inexpensive.
The Dodge 2500 with the Cummins diesel pre 2007 before the emissions gear hammered the fuel mileage is a great value.
A truck can offer the perfect blend of utility and power. The sturdy truck bed carries all the tools needed to get a tough job done, and the engine and its torque can help tow all the equipment. With that in mind, different trucks have different towing options. Whether it’s towing for work or the family vacation, here are seven used trucks that excel at pulling their weight.
