Reviews for 2013 Fiat 500
Better than I thought
Great gas mileage, easy to repair and more dependable than I thought it would be. I also like the fact that it's distinctive. I only see another Fiat every now and then so I really stand out on the road. People as me about my car all the time.
A great car if you understand what you're getting into.
If you're a car nut, more specifically, a sports car nut, you can't beat a car like this in smiles per gallon. Yes, you can get a more comprehensive sports car (yes, Miata is always the answer) but in my experience, I find myself with that ear-to-ear maniacal grin that a small child gets when he gets a new toy more often in my Abarth then I ever had in a miata (with the top up). It's like a Neon SRT-4 in that it has a turbo to a straight pipe with no muffler, so this thing sounds like the devil, rasping for your attention (or, a small Lamborghini for you devil-fearing folks). But unlike the SRT-4, the Abarth has a sense of humor. It knows it looks dorky. The Fiat 500 Abarth is this emoticon () on wheels, both in style and substance.
Fun car for the money!
Great car for under $20k. Sporty exhaust can be a bit too loud for some, but we love it! It gurggles and pops when you play, but quiet at constant speed on the interstate. Handles very well with plenty of power. Interior is more roomy than you'd think. With 17" wheels there is minor torque steer in low gears when turbo kicks, but still fun. A few minor rattles, but Beats stereo provides awesome sound system. Shifter would seem to be in a weird position, but it actually works-out fine. With 5-speed, the clutch is feather light and easy. Plus, has a hill-hold feature, so you don't have to mess with the parking brake. Oil changes are a bit pricey, but not that often - so, it's not a real issue. Fun!
