Transmission: Automatic Color:Red Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (0 reviews) This was my first 500 that owned for several months, but replacved because my wife refused to drive a tick shift. It hand like a sports car, but rode like a hay wagon; extremely stiff over bumps, which make me not want to recommend it. The replacement was a 500 Lounge automatic that is comportable and a blast to drive. This was a 2012 modell and had an electrical glitch that shorted the dome light. After prolonged consultation with the mother ship, the dealer determined th the cuplrit was a (superfluous) oil pressure sensor. Since its removal the lights have beenfine. This car is fun and cmfortabkle, but you should have another one for trips.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Gray Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (0 reviews) As a owner of the 2014 Fiat 500L, I would have to say that I am extremely impressed with the value one gets with this vehicle. Great gas mileage, comfortable ride, and massive interior space. This is the second Fiat that I own, first is a 2012 Fiat 500 Sport. There is a marked improvement over the 500 sport especially in the dual clutch transmission. the 2014 is much smoother than that of the 2012. Don't believe the transmission concerns - It is not an automatic transmission like in American Vehicles. It is a European system that gives the drive the ease of automatic but the mileage of a manual. I have never experienced an issue with either model, mechanically sound cars (54000 on the 500 and 15000 in the 500L.)

Great car with only a few minor problems

I would definitely recommend this car. This car fits my lifestyle perfectly, doing mostly city driving. Its quick and agile and fits in the tight spaces. The Fiat 500L has a few minor things that I wish I could change but those are outweighed by the big positives that the car offers. The minor things include: not having a spare tire, the automatic gear selector sometimes struggles figuring out the right gear, and the throttle response is a little touchy. The positives: the infotainment screen is amazing and easy to use, the styling is unique and fun, there is a ton of room in the front and the back, and it is an overall fun car to drive.
