-Comfortable for driver & front seat passenger.
-Good cargo space with back seats folded down.
-Good power with the Turbo.
-Stylish and fun to drive.
-Handling and braking are on point.
-I don't like the turn signals because they're not sensitive. By that I mean that they don't seem to turn off on their own unless you do a 90 turn.
-When I reverse, sometimes the gear box pops into neutral. I'm not yet sure if this is human error or the car's fault.
-If you have the air circulating from the outside, it's a bit noisy.
-Stereo could be better.
-I don't think that there is a good place to comfortably rest my left arm, so on longer road trips, my arm gets tired.
Great city car at a great price
2013 Fiat 500Toni - Washington, DC09/06/2014
I'm kind of in love with my Fiat - it's a 5-speed manual Sport model, so it's got some zip off the line, considering it's a 1.4 liter sewing-machine motor. It's perfect for 99% of my purposes, i.e., commuting and getting around town, but of course isn't great for things like IKEA trips. But that's what friends are for! I've had no mechanical or electrical issues, and maintenance is cheap. My only real quibble is that it take premium gas (mid-grade is OK), but I get by on an average of $35 every two weeks on gas, so really, I can't complain. All in all, I really recommend considering a Fiat 500S if you're looking for a fun commuter car - just don't try to cram more than one or two passengers into it!
Quick. so must have been the build time
2013 Fiat 500Doug Arendell - Dallas, TX10/18/2015
Overall quality is under par. I admit I enjoyed driving it. However, ride quality felt rough & plastic panels raddled. Electronics were intermittent ie rear wiper blade would randomly come on. A/c needed serviced 3 times in 3 weeks. Sold it after that.
