Saving so much on gas!
The only lifestyle change I needed to make was to have my days planned out and ensure in case of needing it, there is a charging station along the way or at my destination. If you are someone who stays within a certain range of your house you can minimalize your costs even more by always charging at home. There is instant torque which is fun and took a little getting used to but useful. It helps you control your driving habits too by seeing what your range is constantly and how your driving habits change your available range.
From a truck to a Fiat 500, yes!
Gas mileage is phenomenal. 400 miles to the tank. I love in Mississippi and most of my traveling in on highways so believe me when I say my Fiat gets great mileage. The inside of the car is spacious enough for 2. It does t feel smal to me though the back seat seems right to me. I owned a truck but the back and fold down seats provide me enough cargo room. It has held 4 camping chairs, a folding table, 2 bags with 3 comforters along with several bags with good and ice. I still had room. The interior detail is a through back to another area, classy but modern. I have had no problem merging with traffics on the interstate. In fact, I find myself going faster than I think so I often use cruise control. It's small but fits my lifestyle!
You will be sorry!!
I bought this car with 12 miles on it, new. Within the first 3 months I had to have the following replaced: 1. Radio clock slow/faulty 2. Back tire had a piece of metal 3. Clutch plate bad, car wouldn't start on several occasions 4. Passenger window made creaking noise, needed tightened 5. Check engine light on 2x To date, I just took this car in again for the follwing items: 6. Check engine light on (never fixed to begin with, just a reset) but it had a bad oil sensor 7. This car does use a little oil 8. Seat belt on driver side jammed 9. Rearend reflector light fell off 10. Knob shifter replaced again (3rd time it came apart, forgot to mention) This car just sits in my garage now. I'm just waiting to get rid of it.
