As a owner of the 2014 Fiat 500L, I would have to say that I am extremely impressed with the value one gets with this vehicle. Great gas mileage, comfortable ride, and massive interior space. This is the second Fiat that I own, first is a 2012 Fiat 500 Sport. There is a marked improvement over the 500 sport especially in the dual clutch transmission. the 2014 is much smoother than that of the 2012. Don't believe the transmission concerns - It is not an automatic transmission like in American Vehicles. It is a European system that gives the drive the ease of automatic but the mileage of a manual. I have never experienced an issue with either model, mechanically sound cars (54000 on the 500 and 15000 in the 500L.)
29 in the city and 34 highway
More vehicle than one would expect. Outstanding handling and pickup when needed, Turbo charged that makes trips over the mountains a breeze. If you want an Abarth but need more room, this is the car. The engine is the same as the Abarth but has more horsepower and torque.
Room for 5 inside plus a trunk that holds 4 suitcases.
It’s a great car as far as safety, visibility, and price are concerned. If someone is looking for a lot of room and a lot visibility without a high price, it’s a good choice. Would be a perfect starter car for a young driver. But it doesn’t drive consistently well.
Huge windows with extra side windows for increased visibility. Rectangular body design decreases blind spots.
There’s plenty of leg and head room for front and back passengers
Seats are extremely comfortable with adjustable lumbar support
The acceleration is not consistent. Sometimes a push on the gas pedal sends it flying into high rpms, other times it jolts, other times it barely moves
It’s a fiat. Expect really high insurance rates. Get a repair plan or face astronomical costs in parts
This is a great little sportscar without the sports car price!
I'm getting 31mpg and I'm not babying it.
This car has great Italian styling! I get stopped almost daily and get asked about it.
Bluetooth technology. backup camera, I love the modern tech!
