Excellent vehicle

I've been sold on Fords for decades. My previous pickup was a 1996 F-250 diesel that I'd had since 1997. I still loved the truck but it just wasn't big enough for the trailers I have. A simple on line search found this F-350. With all the pictures on the ad, all I needed was to secure financing and a test drive. Strange, but each successive vehicle has had more and more "bells and whistles." This F-350 (Super Duty Lariat) has taken that to all new heights. Power everything (to include big towing mirrors), the engine is smaller than my old 7.3L Power Stroke but has more than twice as much horsepower (190hp vs 400 hp) and it's orders of magnitude quieter! Plus it gets better fuel economy. I won't have to shut off the engine to be heard at drive thru windows. With more horsepower, I can pass in areas I couldn't before because it took too long for the old truck to get up to the speed needed. This one jumps like a jackrabbit. As with a van, directly behind a pickup is a bad blind spot. This F-350 has a rear video camera that even works in VERY low light and makes sure I don't back over some kid in a parking lot. It also eases backing for trailer hook up. As someone who keeps vehicles a long time, I know it requires good maintenance to keep one a long time. I can recognize proper maintenance when I see it. This F-350 had gently used, low miles. Original interior in excellent shape with just enough pedal wear to prove they weren't just replacement pedals to make it look newer. This vehicle was already equipped with the hitches I need, so that saves me the money and trouble of having to buy them (over $1,000 dollars) and let me put my truck to work the very next day. With this power, I no longer slow down traffic in hilly country and I do so in greater comfort. I am VERY well satisfied.

great for large family

I love this van because it is simple no fancy gadgets. We are a family of 7 and it has more than enough room. Simple is better yes its bigger than mini vans but its does the same. Its cheaper to maintain because it does not have all the electric doors, windows and gadgets that always seem to break.
