We owned a van and traded for sedan type vehicle which was too much of a radical transition because of being use to the space and size of our van. The Edge has met all of our needs plus given us some added new features to enjoy, ie: outside camera for back-up assistance, automatic liftgate, seat warmers and electric seats on both driver and passenger sides. We love all the new features and the size of this vehicle.
I have owned my Edge for more than 5 years after buying it used in '09 and I must have won the car lottery or something because it has been wonderful. My mechanic and I lost contact (so sad!) because, aside from routine maintenance, there was never any reason for it to get looked at. My aunt backed her sports car into it and the fender of the sports car crumpled like aluminum, my Edge barely had a scratch!
It's quiet and smooth and comfortable and roomy but not too big. There are so many great little features too, like a warning if tire pressure is low (how I discovered a giant nail in one of my tires), how many miles until the gas tank is empty, a rearview mirror that dims headlights at night. I am sooooo happy I bought this car!
