This my second Ford Escape, and I love it even more than the first one. I appreciate the AWD on demand especially. My first escape was 4WD, and when I lived in Michigan, it was wonderful; with the new one, I don't have to decide when or if I need 4WD...the car decides for me! I also appreciate the airbags, in places I didn't even know I needed them, and the overall feeling of safety.
My Escape is a 4-cylinder, but has as much pep as any 6-cylinder I've ever drivenwith the added bonus of much better gas mileage than a 6-cylinder. I've also taken this on many road trips, some of which didn't involve roads, and it always behaved beautifully, no matter the circumstances.
I can't say enough good things about the Ford Escape. I highly recommend this SUV!
Efficient, economical, practical

I wanted a vehicle that could navigate South Florida flood waters effectively, be easy on the budget, and safe on the road. I got all 3 priorities with the Ford Escape. It uses about the same mileage as my Hyundai Elantra sedan, a great thing, drives smoothly, and so far has been economical. I took out a service agreement because it is an older model and some items will need replacement.
