Transmission: Automatic Color:Silver Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.365 reviews) I'm 6'5 and wanted a mid-size SUV that I could fit comfortably it, had good gas mileage (I live in the city), reliable performance and a good cargo space. I tested almost every brand of mid-size SUV available and while some had sportier driving technology and more refined interior options, none of them offered the value and comfort that I was looking for. The head room and space in the driver side was not even a little bit close in any of these models compared to the Escape. For the same price for these other brands the model was older by 2-3 years in some cases. Ford knows what it is up against with foreign companies and has made major progress with it's overall quality, the affordability is a major strength for a young professional. I could not be happier with my Escape, for those like me who are a little thrown off by curvy lines, the look of the 2011 Escape is ideal.

Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.365 reviews) I downsized from a very large SUV to this Escape XLT. I am still getting used to it, but I enjoy driving it a lot. I got the V6 so there is plenty of power for merging onto the highway, I like that it has a more square SUV look rather than the car look of some of the crossovers. It's very roomy inside, so I can still fill up the cargo area with groceries or coolers for traveling. I do find the seats a bit harder than the larger SUV I had and there is a bit more noise in the cabin area from the engine, but those would by my only complaints so far. I love the sync function for hands-free talking on the phone. The power adjustable seats and blind spot mirrors make it a breeze to drive comfortably.
