Customer Review Summary for Ford Escape
2014 Ford EscapeMatt Huke - Westfield, IN05/02/2017
I purchased a used Escape in December 2016, and I never looked back. I upgraded from a 2008 Honda Accord that was riddled with problems, and I have not yet had any reason to complain about the Escape! It's a smooth ride with an excellent sound system, and very comfortable for all passengers. The automatic AWD is a lifesaver. I now love driving everywhere, just because I get to spend time in my Escape!
Not comfortable for passengers
2012 Ford EscapeHannah Miller - Jacksonville, FL01/03/2017
You cannot role down the windows without hearing all around pressure inside and outside the vehicle. It's hard to explain it unless you've driven or been inside the vehicle plenty of times. This is the only car that I get car sick in either in the passenger seat or the back seats, and it's not just me who has felt this way. I don't know why, but I won't even be doing anything like reading to make me sick, it's just being in the car for a long time. say a half an hour to feel this way. Another con for me (even though it's a safety precaution, which I understand) is that you can only connect your phone through bluetooth when you're at a complete stop or parked, the passenger cannot do it for you while you're driving.
Great car, great price, wonderful service.
2011 Ford EscapeHolly - Dallas, GA02/21/2015
The car is roomy, handles great, good gas mileage, is comfortable to ride in and drive, mechanically sound, would be great for a family, and is great for road trips. Plenty of storage space, back seats are roomy and comfortable. Probably the best car purchase I have ever made.
The Ford F-150, the top-searched vehicle on carmax.com in 2017, has a heck-raising version called the SVT Raptor. Love it or not, the Ford Raptor is impossible to ignore. It rules the road (and dirt, mud, sand, etc.)!
Many drivers who want a best crossover seek out one of the popular vehicles on this list. Why the big deal about a crossover SUV? It’s the solid mix of roomy interior and a smaller size that fits in plenty of parking spaces.
Compact SUVs are great for everything from daily commutes to weekend family road trips. These small SUVs are more popular than ever with the style to match. Check out this list of CarMax’s best-selling compact SUVs of 2017, based on sales data from January 1 – July 2017.
