Reviews for 2009 Ford Escape
Reliable car for first-time buyer
Great first time family SUV lots of room and good power
great except for
this car is fantastic except for the face my back hatch window isnt sealed and unfortunately for me i bought it right before all the heavy rains. since it wasnt sealed the inside of my car got soaked and messed up the interior and now i have to go waste time getting that fixed when i shouldnt even have had do it in the first place. other than that i love this ford escape. its classy and has good gas mileage for this type of vehicle.
I bought my car brand new in 2009. Aside from a few minor quirks initially (2 recalls, faulty lift gate latch, tire pressure sensor malfunction), I've had this vehicle for 7 years and have over 185,000 miles on it and can homes toy say I easily think I'll top 200K without any issues. I've kept up with general maintenance and always prompt with oil changes, but I purchased it in my mid 20's; it's definitely seen its fair share of abuse and I've never had complaints. The back seat folds flat which has been a huge advantage over the years, with the option to fold only half the seat if preferred. It easily and comfortably fits my rear-facing toddler car seat with plenty of room to spare.
