I love my Expedition. I purchased this model because I needed a vehicle that will tow an 8,000 pound camper and a 22 foot boat (not at the same time!). It was the best value to for the buck. I was originally looking at the Tahoe and Yukon, but they are not rated to pull the weight I needed to pull. Gas mileage is about what I expected. I would definitely buy another Expedition. So far, I have not been disappointed.
Excellent leg room in all three seats. Room for adult passengers in third seat as apposed to only room for a toddler in Chevy Saburban/Tahoe, GMC Yukon/Yukon XL, and Toyota Sequoia(the new large sized model). Copiouis standard features. Heated and cooled front passenger seats are excellent summer or winter or for long trips. A turning radius that makes get around even the smallest streets, great idea when lost or looking around for a new address. Ford has had the numer one selling pickup for a long time and this SUV shows why. I wouldn't drive another make of SUV, except for a Lincoln but then again it's a Ford product too. Power fold third seat seats three and when all seats are folded down more than enough room for most anything you could imagine. All this and it looks great too.
Excellent looks, outstanding third seat leg room theres room for a full grown adult as apposed to GM SUVs that barely fit a toddler. The third row power folds, the second row lays down as well as the front passenger seat so if you have to haul something extra long there's room. Great gas mileage on trips, last trip was able to average 24 mpg, only fair mileage around town 16-17 mpg. Would like to see Ford give the option of the 6.2L engine, there's plenty of power now but I personally like more for my driving style. The navigation works fine but there are a lot of better after-market units. The blower for the AC could be more powerful and quieter.Seat cooler needs improved. The seat heater works great. Excellent vehicle will buy again.
