Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (0 reviews) if someone didn't know much or hadn't had a nicer SUV before, then they would like it. or if they liked driving ford trucks. But for me, it was boring, top heavy, missing features, slow, hard to take turns, styling hasn't changed since...ever, looks like an Explorer King Ranch Edition is nice, i guess, only difference is brown saddle leather seats, which feel like sitting on a saddle...on a horse, very hard, not comfortable, i could never get comfortable with the seat/steering wheel location, never felt like the right spot. Every bump you hit left aftershocks that bounced on forever. Had this for 3 months, tried to like it, sometimes did like it, then realized, i just didn't like it...

Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.75 reviews) Despite having high mileage, this car runs like new! My Jeep Commander that I bought for my wife brand new was always in the shop but the Expedition has only given us one problem but it was a problem that could've happened with any car. Mine and my wife's favorite thing about the Expy is that it doesn't drive like a rig. It handles turns with minimal lean and has good power. Only thing I hate about it is the position of the steering wheel. I'm 5'9 and feel like I have to drive like a grandma since the wheel is so far away. Definitely one of the best cars we've had in the family.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Blue Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.889 reviews) This replaced our 2000 Excursion v-10. We were to get a V-8 with enough power and towing capacity, and four wheel drive like we had in the Excursion. The only down side is that the Expedition is 20 inches shorter. There are times when we miss that extra 20 inches.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (0 reviews) my wife and i tow a travel trailer ,we do like to travel and consider the trip to a chosen destination as part of the experience.the Expedition has a smooth ride,no wind noise, has a factory tow package and ample room for friends and pets, with fold flat rear seats lots of cargo room if needed. At high-way speeds can have conversation with out having to talk loud.comes from Ford nicely equipted .climate ,sounds and able to tow easily.our expedition is an XLT which is not all the bells whistles yet has more extras built in than we will use. very nice Ford if you tow or have big family the way to go.

Good car for families, poor gas mileage

For a large family that camps and travels by car, it is great. It holds all of us, our friends and our gear.

2003 Ford Expedition

I traded in my Mini Cooper convertible for the additional space and poor weather performance necessary for a working parent and haven't regretted it one minute. The Expedition has so many different seat configurations (with the seats folding flat for maximum cargo usability) that I can fit my daughter's soccer team pals, all their cargo, and the family lab at the same time with everyone comfortably watching the factory installed DVD player (with wireless headsets!). For such a large vehicle I have been surprised at how well it turns and navigates in tight spaces and I feel confident that I can see each corner of my vehicle given the adjustments to the driver's seat. While I will miss my "rag top" this summer I look forward to lots of ski trips this winter!
