2006 Ford ExpeditionCheer Mom - Sarasota, FL09/09/2010
My husband said that the Ford Expedition with 3rd row seating for 8 would be too big for me and our twin daughters. That statement proved to be false. I've had the car for a couple of months now and have used all 3 rows of seats over a dozen times. I love being able to fit the whole family and our daughters' friends in the car all at the same time. It's much more fun than having to drive separate cars to the kids' games, school activities, or when we have family visit and we take them out. Choosing the Limited edition was a good choice as well as the vehicle has proved to be much more comfortable than I had anticipated. The leather seating has both heat and A/C front seats and everything is automatic. I can raise and lower the split 3rd row at the touch of a button. The navigation seems a bit antiquated for an 06 but it works well. I'd definitely recommend this vehicle to others and would consider buying a new Expedition when I trade this one in.

The Ford Expedition is a moderately price full feature SUV with room for the entire family and critters pulling a boat or trailer up a mountain road wit ease. 5.4 liter V-8 has plenty of power to spare and with the optional 4WD the vehicle has great off road capabilities.
With the third row seats powered up, or down it is easily changed from a very largecargo area to a vehicle with seating for eight.
While fuel economy is not it's greatest asset it decent for it's size on the highway and uses regular gas.
The size of it makes it very good in a crash siuation with most other cars and light trucks.
Love this car!!!

Bought my 2006 Ford Expedition Limited about a month ago. No problems, love the room. The only improvement would be an IPOD jack. Moves really good for a large truck. Back up sensors are fantastic.
The Ford F-150, the top-searched vehicle on carmax.com in 2017, has a heck-raising version called the SVT Raptor. Love it or not, the Ford Raptor is impossible to ignore. It rules the road (and dirt, mud, sand, etc.)!
