Despite having high mileage, this car runs like new! My Jeep Commander that I bought for my wife brand new was always in the shop but the Expedition has only given us one problem but it was a problem that could've happened with any car. Mine and my wife's favorite thing about the Expy is that it doesn't drive like a rig. It handles turns with minimal lean and has good power. Only thing I hate about it is the position of the steering wheel. I'm 5'9 and feel like I have to drive like a grandma since the wheel is so far away. Definitely one of the best cars we've had in the family.
I had previously owned a 2006 Ford Expedition and got quite spoiled by that one. And, now I have a 2007 Ford Expedition! This one is even better that what I could have imagined or even wanted, as far as 'extras' goes! My 07 Expedition is a 4X4. I didn't realize this until after I took it for a test drive. It is amazing how much safer I feel in this vehicle! Because this one weighs so much more (almost 8,000 lbs.) than any previous vehicle I have owned, I am actually quite comfortable driving in this awful 70+ mph winds that we sometimes get! Ironically enough, I actually DO NOT feel the vehicle being moved by the wind at all!!! The comfort is amazing! I have had SEVERAL back surgeries and this vehicle fits me perfectly! I am EXTREMELY comfortable in this truck, whether I am driving it or riding as the passenger! I love, love, LOVE all the room in this truck!!! Just can't get over it!!!
I had a 2nd Generation Expedition a few years ago and decide to leave Ford and go with a Nissan SUV. Well fast forward a few trucks later I will say I am very happy with my used 2007 Expedition 3rd Generation. The body style is still current and up to date with the newer models and the overall truck is great. I like the limited model the most based on the options and simplistic but aggressive look of all black and chrome. Factory wheels look great and the ride is smooth for a big truck. 3rd row seats are very comfortable for larger passengers. Interior styling is nice and the DVD sound is amazing. The only negative is gas mileage of course, Cheap leather seats almost feel worst then vinyl and poor storage space. There is hardly any area to store your stuff like DVD's, remotes, cd's and headphones. Overall a great truck!
