Transmission: Automatic Color:Blue Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.778 reviews) if someone didn't know much or hadn't had a nicer SUV before, then they would like it. or if they liked driving ford trucks. But for me, it was boring, top heavy, missing features, slow, hard to take turns, styling hasn't changed since...ever, looks like an Explorer King Ranch Edition is nice, i guess, only difference is brown saddle leather seats, which feel like sitting on a saddle...on a horse, very hard, not comfortable, i could never get comfortable with the seat/steering wheel location, never felt like the right spot. Every bump you hit left aftershocks that bounced on forever. Had this for 3 months, tried to like it, sometimes did like it, then realized, i just didn't like it...

Good car for families, poor gas mileage

For a large family that camps and travels by car, it is great. It holds all of us, our friends and our gear.

Great Example of an Expedition...I guess?

exactly what we were looking for

my wife and i tow a travel trailer ,we do like to travel and consider the trip to a chosen destination as part of the experience.the Expedition has a smooth ride,no wind noise, has a factory tow package and ample room for friends and pets, with fold flat rear seats lots of cargo room if needed. At high-way speeds can have conversation with out having to talk loud.comes from Ford nicely equipted .climate ,sounds and able to tow easily.our expedition is an XLT which is not all the bells whistles yet has more extras built in than we will use. very nice Ford if you tow or have big family the way to go.
