08 Ford Expedition - King Ranch
I had a smaller SUV (Nissan Murano) and wanted more passenger room so I compromised on MPG and purchased a 2008 Ford Expedition - King Ranch edition. It has a lot of "bells and whistles" and in this wild Texas heat the air conditioned seats are a blessing. I get about 16-17 MPG, but I haven't taken it out for an extended trip to see what it will get on the highway for a length of time. It handles well and have had a lot of compliments on the interior and exterior appearance. The electronic liftgate is very nice and an added convenience when shopping.
My Expedition is the second vehicle that I have fallen in love with. I love the way it looks and when I drive it......it runs smooth. I have a sun roof and I open it as often as I can. My child loves the sun roof as well! I am very happy with my purchase.
I have the 2008 Expedition Eddie Bauer and I LOVE IT!!! With 2 kids and 2 dogs and moving alot for my husband's job, this is perfect for us! I can tow, have plenty of space inside for everyone and the turning radius is great...better than my Mom's Escalade! I also love that the 3rd row folds flat...it's there when you need it and stored in the car flat if you don't. I also utilize the key pad on the outside drivers door...just lock the keys in the car at the beach, soccer games, when I go running on a trail etc. It is fully loaded so the kids love the DVD player and I'm enjoying the Sirius radio. It doesn't have the "SYNC" but I can still plug in my iPhone and use the voice commands to play songs through the radio. I'm not as fond of the navagation system and how it routes you, but that's only because I've had a Garmin Nuvi for over 6 years now and I'm used to it. Would buy this vehicle again in a heartbeat!
