08 Explorer Sport Track

It has a good mileage for a truck. My family only has three people and that is the perfect size truck for us and all our toys. I did not get the navigation or the sun roof, because I thought it costs too much. But it came with sync, the voice activation, USB port and line in, and those were all I needed.

My 08 Sport Trac Adrenalin

I am totally satisfied with my Sport Trac!!! It's simply one of the nicest trucks I have ever seen...The cabin is roomy and very accomodating...It even has slots behind the back seat to connect safety child seats, and that's great for a grandparent...The truck bed has 3 individual compartments for storage and it came with an extender...Even though it's a truck it's ride, I think is better than many expensive cars...The look is more refined than that of a regular pick-up, it's a family vehicle that can double as a work truck, and can easily stand side by side the vehicles driven and modified by the younger generation of today...I am 55 years old and this vehicle seems to make me feel just a little bit younger...Ford has impressed me with this vehicle...

Lovin' It

I have wanted a SportTrac ever since they came out. I like the 4 door passenger capacity (took 5 adults out in it the other day comfortably!) and yet I have the carry capacity of a pickup (albeit a short-bed). I bought my SportTrac just in time to take it on a road trip over Thanksgiving. The ride was (and is) incredibly smooth. My version is the Limited, so it's loaded with all the gadgets. I absolutely LOVE the Sync feature that allows handsfree dialing/calling. On the downside, the mileage could be better, but I knew that going in and got the V8/4WD regardless. Chicago winters can be brutal and my primary road to work doesn't always get plowed the best. With all that considered, I've still pulled around 20 mpg on the highway, which is above what Ford says I should be getting. Not too sure about the "smart" 4WD engage. It seems a bit jerky in comparison to my '02 Escapes "smart" 4WD. Overall, I'm very pleased to be driving the truck I always wanted.
