Owned a 1997 Mountaineer (same car) for 17 years. (Over 200,00 miles). Satisfactory service. Then a 2006 E-250 van for work. Completely satisfactory performance. Have now traded van for this 2007 Explorer. Wonderfull to return to this comfortable drive and performance.

This our second Ford Explorer, our 1st is a 2002 model with 139000 miles and it is passed on to our daughter. We are really pleased with our new one, it drives even better than the old one.

We bought a used 2007 Ford Explorer with about 32,000 miles on it. It is the Eddie Bauer edition so looks very sporty, has leather seats, and most of the bells and whistles. It has a lot of room - the 2nd seat easily fits 3 people and there are 2 more seats in the 3rd row. This is our first SUV and we hesitated about buying one in the past because they drove like trucks. The Ford Explorer drives and handles like a car and has an extremely smooth ride. It doesn't have a fast pick up but it's not slow. We chose the 6 cylinder to save on gas. The 2nd & 3rd row seats fold easily. We like the side storage Ford put in the 3rd row. We have no complaints and have been very satisfied.
SUVs are known for not just their seating and towing capacity, but their versatile cargo space and capable performance. In the market for a midsize SUV? Check out three of our best-selling midsize SUVs from January through September 2017.

The Ford F-150, the top-searched vehicle on carmax.com in 2017, has a heck-raising version called the SVT Raptor. Love it or not, the Ford Raptor is impossible to ignore. It rules the road (and dirt, mud, sand, etc.)!
