Well-rounded

I've had my '08 Eddie Bauer 2wd for six months now and I like it more each day. Despite being the traditional SUV (narrow, short wheelbase, high center of gravity), this truck really checks all the boxes. My favorite features are the sunroof, SYNC, backup sensors, and the two-tone leather interior. Bumps are easily absorbed and road noise is minimal. It's also comforting to know that behind the spruced up technology and features, you still have that 'ole 4 liter V-6 dating back to genesis that has been perfected. I average 18/20 mpg. What impressed me was the incredible turning radius, torquey 1st gear and ride comfort. I can wheel my bike in the back with ease and the split-glass lift gate is convenient. This truck is a great value for money and is the best vehicle I've owned.

2008 Explorer Fun

I have really enjoyed driving this vehicle, my daughter's bulky carseat fits nicely and the front passengers still have plenty of room - where other cars lack and the passenger or driver get squished because of the big carseats! The features inside are nice, nothing too fancy, but nice upgrades. It has some nice horsepower and "get up and go" when I need it. Still get good gas mileage, not great. Wish the back doors would open all the way like our other SUV, it would be nice when getting my daughter in her carseat. Cargo area is roomy and the Air Conditioning is the best I've had in Arizona in a domestic made vehicle - right up there with Toyotas. It blows hard and cold and the entire car cools down FAST. All in all I really like our new car.

2008 Ford Explorer

I have owned my new Ford for only 2 months now but I am enjoying the ride. The SUV rides alot smoother than I anticipated and it has a great turning radius for a sport utility. Definitely plenty of space for passengers to sit comfortably even in the 3rd row seat. 2 complaints; 1. the door handles on the 2nd row have two handles, one to open door which sits on top and one to close door which sits underneath upper handle, which I find is a discomfort, 2. not enough air vents for passengers at the 3rd row so it takes a little longer for them to get air. Otherwise, so far so good.
