Customer Review Summary for Ford Explorer
Leaking transmission fluid at 33,000 miles
2013 Ford ExplorerB - Weston, FL04/03/2015
Leaking transmission fluid at only 33,000 miles. Has a lot of tech goodies but car has a cheap feel and drive. I had Ford fix the leaking transmission under warranty and then I got rid of it at 35,000 miles, prior to expiration of factory warranty. I would not recommend this car based on poor quality.
2013 Ford ExplorerClay Jones - Lewisville, NC11/11/2016
Right out of the gate, we had emissions problems with "bad" sensors. After three trips to the Ford Service Dept since it was still under power train warranty, they had to splice into the wiring to fix. Drove it for 3 months and the transmition went out. Had to rebuild the transmition and we were only 3 months in on a 25000 mile vehicle.
Great family crossover option
2013 Ford ExplorerL. - Flatonia, TX04/28/2015
This car has lots of great if built in features even at our base model. Third row is built to fit adults, car seats or kids with ease. The step in height is low enough to not need a step but large enough to be up with a good view. Compact enough to fit in small parking spots and maneuver in the city but large enough to handle our pasture roads and all our baby and kid gear.
