2006 Ford F150JEB.camper - Parkville, Maryland11/13/2011
I bought this truck to pull my 5,000 lb camping trailer so I don't put too many miles on it. It tows great, can't even feel any lag. Never gets stuck pulling out of mud like the Dodge and Chevy's. Gas mileage is bad but since I only use it for camping or when needed to get to work in the snow its worth the extra expense. The back seat, I'm told, is pretty uncomfortable for long drives-back is too straight & no leg room. I've had the truck for 2 years and it still holds the same resale value that I paid for it. Wasn't really looking for a Ford but, the price was right and I have no regrets; it's been very reliable and looks good and gets the job done.
Its a love/hate relationship.

to keep buyers from purchasing anything General Motors. I've had seven Ford trucks, 3 diesels and 4 gas. Four were new and 3 used. Overall I love Ford trucks. I've had more problems with my latest purchase, but I'm still pro Ford. My biggest gripe are with the service centers at Ford dealers. They aren't even subtle about the outrageous costs and estimates. They'll shake your hand, pat you on the shoulder and screw you to the wall without so much as a kiss. I steer clear entirely.
The best looking truck out there!

Yes, I'm talking about the 2006 Ford F150 Lariat Supercrew with the 6 1/2 foot bed. I bought this truck in April of 06 and let me tell you that it is all that and some. The F150 drives like a car, the interior is better looking than that of most luxury sedans and the exterior is the most appealing of any truck out now, yeah it could sure use more power on the take off, but I doubt anyone is looking at this truck to enter it in a speed race anyway. I love this truck and I'm sure anyone who drives will too!
