There are a lot of things i like and maybe the one i bough has had some rough handling prior to my purchase but thought it would be OK with only 50,000 miles. The drive train jerks like it has slack in the joints or the transmission or rear end. I traded in a 2008 GMC diesel with over 280,000 miles that was still tight and shifting smoothly. Also the 5.4 liter V8 is way under powered in my opinion for a truck this size. When switched into 4 wheel drive mode the vehicle also feels odd compared to the GMC.
Nothing better than a pick-up truck, I love the way it handles, drives like a luxury car, great on gas, plenty of power, interior is very stylish and comfortable - love my truck!
Drives like a car, tows like a truck is supposed too.
The Ford F-150 leads the full-size pickup class as the most popular entry into Ford's F-series of trucks. Versatile and packed with features, the F-150 is favored by off-road enthusiasts and is a solid option for anyone in the market for a used truck.
The 2010 Ford F-150 offers a list of standard features that delivers tremendous value. With 10 trim levels, there is a version of the 2010 Ford F-150 that is the great fit for any driver. The base trim level, the 2010 Ford F-150 XL, comes equipped with little more than a radio and air conditioning. The F-150 STX is similarly stripped-down, offering a CD player in addition to the radio tuner. The F-150 XLT bumps up the features, including cruise control and full power accessories.
Ford has built the Ford F-150 to be an affordable yet durable vehicle with a large carrying capacity. The 2010 F-150 provides high performance off-roading as well. The vehicle is designed to be imposing, a solid suspension and coordinated steering offer plenty of control. Although fuel economy for the base Ford F-150 has been increased, vehicle performance has not suffered a bit.
The Ford F-150 is available with the following trims: XL, STX, XLT, Lariat, FX4 and SVT Raptor. There are also three body styles, including Regular Cab, Super Cab, and SuperCrew Cab.
As with the 2009 models, the 2010 F-150 comes with an available 4.6L V8 or a 5.4L V8 engine. Understandably, the 5.4L V8 engine is the best choice for drivers seeking more towing power. The V8 engine also comes with fuel economy improvements. The 2010 Ford F-150 is equipped with rear-wheel drive, giving the vehicle a well-weighted feel even with a full cargo load.
No matter the body style, the 2010 Ford F-150 stands tall and wide, appearing large from just about any angle. As Ford's signature pickup truck, the 2010 F-150 is easily recognizable on the road. Ford continues to improve the interior, with the 2009 redesign adding well-tuned instrument panels and climate control vents. The Ford F-150 has ample room for four occupants in any of its cab configurations.
