2010 Ford F150Wilson - Alpharetta, GA11/28/2012
The Truck has exceeded my expectations. I think I got a great deal. The Truck looks brand inside and out, but it is actually 2.5 years only, with 40K miles and about $15K cheaper than a brand new loaded F150Lariet.
2010 Ford F150G man - Key West, Florida03/28/2011
Searched for months to find the right F-150 with the features I wanted, not what a dealer wanted me to have.
Found my perfect F-150, 2010 crew cab.
Nice lines from all sides, just the right amount of flash without going overboard. Paint is outstanding. Color is listed as black, but in the sun and looking closer, there are tiny specks of yellow and green and blue mixed in giving it a great sparkle. Interior is well blended and eye catching. Leather seats are the best in comfort with enough adjustments available to suit any size driver or passenger. Gauges and controls are easy to see and reach. Only change I would make is to have the roof controls for the sun roof and rear window at an angle and easier to see than the flush mounted ones there.
Visibility out the windows is good, upgraded SONY system is outstanding at any sound level. Ride is quiet and smooth on the highway.
Classy look from the outside, and equally classy inside.
Microsoft SYNC system and hands-free controls, along with voice activated adjustments make for a safer situation for everybody. Only correction I can see, is that few smart phones work with SYNC to translate text to speach. Very much a let down that the latest greatest SYNC system, will not do text to speach on the latest greatest smart phone, which, when it comes down to it, I have paid for. However, the other services in SYNC work just fine.
The 2010 F-150 Lariat crew cab by far is a stylish and reliable vehicle for those looking for a higher end truck, that is much more than a truck. Money well spent.
2010 Ford F-150 Overview
The Ford F-150 leads the full-size pickup class as the most popular entry into Ford's F-series of trucks. Versatile and packed with features, the F-150 is favored by off-road enthusiasts and is a solid option for anyone in the market for a used truck.
Features & Specs
The 2010 Ford F-150 offers a list of standard features that delivers tremendous value. With 10 trim levels, there is a version of the 2010 Ford F-150 that is the great fit for any driver. The base trim level, the 2010 Ford F-150 XL, comes equipped with little more than a radio and air conditioning. The F-150 STX is similarly stripped-down, offering a CD player in addition to the radio tuner. The F-150 XLT bumps up the features, including cruise control and full power accessories.
Design & Performance
Ford has built the Ford F-150 to be an affordable yet durable vehicle with a large carrying capacity. The 2010 F-150 provides high performance off-roading as well. The vehicle is designed to be imposing, a solid suspension and coordinated steering offer plenty of control. Although fuel economy for the base Ford F-150 has been increased, vehicle performance has not suffered a bit.
The Ford F-150 is available with the following trims: XL, STX, XLT, Lariat, FX4 and SVT Raptor. There are also three body styles, including Regular Cab, Super Cab, and SuperCrew Cab.
Powertrain & Engine
As with the 2009 models, the 2010 F-150 comes with an available 4.6L V8 or a 5.4L V8 engine. Understandably, the 5.4L V8 engine is the best choice for drivers seeking more towing power. The V8 engine also comes with fuel economy improvements. The 2010 Ford F-150 is equipped with rear-wheel drive, giving the vehicle a well-weighted feel even with a full cargo load.
Body Style & Interior Comfort
No matter the body style, the 2010 Ford F-150 stands tall and wide, appearing large from just about any angle. As Ford's signature pickup truck, the 2010 F-150 is easily recognizable on the road. Ford continues to improve the interior, with the 2009 redesign adding well-tuned instrument panels and climate control vents. The Ford F-150 has ample room for four occupants in any of its cab configurations.
The Ford F-150, the top-searched vehicle on carmax.com in 2017, has a heck-raising version called the SVT Raptor. Love it or not, the Ford Raptor is impossible to ignore. It rules the road (and dirt, mud, sand, etc.)!
