Customer Review Summary for Ford F150
Junk. Pure and Simple. Nothing but problems
2007 Ford F150Eric L - Chesterfield, VA11/01/2016
I've had a lot of problems and looking online, so have others. problems with the brakes, upper control arms (having to be replaced again), front hubs had to be replaced, leaking power steering hose, and now exhaust manifold has to be removed/repaired. I only drive 5k miles a year, except for one year when I drove it for about 20k. For a 4x4 truck "Ford" tough, this thing is anything but tough. And I rarely go off road. This truck has been babied for the most part with no rough treatment. Seriously considering getting rid of it for another brand. I used to be a Ford man, but after this truck, I'd have to think long and hard before I buy another Ford product. Very disappointed.
Its a love/hate relationship.

to keep buyers from purchasing anything General Motors. I've had seven Ford trucks, 3 diesels and 4 gas. Four were new and 3 used. Overall I love Ford trucks. I've had more problems with my latest purchase, but I'm still pro Ford. My biggest gripe are with the service centers at Ford dealers. They aren't even subtle about the outrageous costs and estimates. They'll shake your hand, pat you on the shoulder and screw you to the wall without so much as a kiss. I steer clear entirely.

My truck came with a Pace Edwards retractable bed cover that locks as does the tailgate so it is just like me having a trunk. The back seats are big enough for my 2 teenage boys (6'2" and 6') to sit comfortably. We took it on a almost 1,700 mile trip and everyone was comfortable. Great truck, wish I had bought it years ago.
The Ford F-150, the top-searched vehicle on carmax.com in 2017, has a heck-raising version called the SVT Raptor. Love it or not, the Ford Raptor is impossible to ignore. It rules the road (and dirt, mud, sand, etc.)!
