Well number one reason is the Ford F-series has been the number one selling truck for 37 years straight for good reason.Other reason is Ford makes a great hard working reliable product wether hauling, towing, off roading,or everyday driving. Also my F150 is very comfortable even after a long days work, rides nice for a truck, and considering I have the big 5.4l v8 it,s not to bad on gas.
Stylish and Strong
2011 Ford F150C Priesmeyer - Orland Park, IL08/15/2015
Never going back to a car. This truck acts like a car but does so much more. The amount of interior room and bed space is fantastic. This truck accelerates very quickly, turns tightly, and stops in moments. Most of the trucks I have owned required very little maintenance.
Returned due to Engine Timing Cover Oil Leak.
2013 Ford F150T K - Fredericksburg, VA04/20/2017
I took a chance on this truck knowing Ford has had reliability issues in the past. My brief experience with this truck, before I returned for a refund only, reinforced this concern. The truck, an EcoBoost 3.5L V6 version, was experiencing significant Engine Timing Cover Oil Leak at only around 40k miles. Online searches turned up many others complaining of the same problem. Also, take this for what it's worth but online searches of the EcoBoost 3.5L V6 F150 turned up a lot of complaints of sudden loss of power on highway under acceleration as well which I found to be pretty alarming. I will admit I was impressed with the acceleration but I never did get close to the advertised MPG stated by Ford even when I was driving conservatively.
