Customer Review Summary for Ford F150
Versatile, comfortable and reliable truck
2012 Ford F150Glenn Carvin - Capistrano Beach, CA08/31/2015
I bought this truck because I needed the power to pull an 8500 pound trailer. The Ecoboost turbo handles it with ease. Decent everyday mileage for a pickup, 17.5 (with stringent Calif smog equipment). Smooth and quiet ride. Even smoother when towing. Nice features. Only drawback seems to be an occasional hard downshift at very low speeds, like going over speed bumps in parking lots. But it has over 100k miles, so stuff happens. Overall, very happy with it.
The Best vehicle i have ever owned
2011 Ford F150Nathan Rosson - Thrall, TX08/09/2015
Riding in this truck just makes you feel like nothing can touch you. It is comfortable, smooth, and has tremendous amounts of power. I never worry about if I have time to pass another vehicle. The truck rides like a caddy with the power of a sports car. I will keep this running as long as I can and when the day comes that I can no longer fix an issue I will buy another one. Now my wife wants the SUV version of the King Ranch and I want her to have it, she came me the best and I want her to have the best..
2014 Ford F150D P - Minneapolis, MN01/20/2017
Realistically, I'm not sure I would recommend it. It's neither great nor totally subpar. Just meh.
After 6 months of ownership it feels like my previous two trucks (Toyota Tundra and Chevy Avalanche) were a better built vehicles. There is a brake recall regarding the master cylinder that is nearly a year old that Ford does not have a fix for yet.
It is easy to tell that Ford is only concerned with getting these trucks manufactured as fast as they can to maintain market share without a huge concern for quality.
