Mixed feelings, really. Good service so far, maneuverability is slightly better than a deuce-and-a-half (which is terrible). Traction is much worse than my last Ford truck (2WD Ranger). You should be over 5'10" to be able to climb into this vehicle (without running boards) or have decent visibility from it.
I've had a lot of problems and looking online, so have others. problems with the brakes, upper control arms (having to be replaced again), front hubs had to be replaced, leaking power steering hose, and now exhaust manifold has to be removed/repaired. I only drive 5k miles a year, except for one year when I drove it for about 20k. For a 4x4 truck "Ford" tough, this thing is anything but tough. And I rarely go off road. This truck has been babied for the most part with no rough treatment. Seriously considering getting rid of it for another brand. I used to be a Ford man, but after this truck, I'd have to think long and hard before I buy another Ford product. Very disappointed.
All the capabilities of a standard f150 with additional perks that other trucks do not have. Wider wheel base provides stability off road during aggressive turns. The 6.2L engine is plenty of power to get you up to 60...or 80... as quickly as you need to enter the freeway. Interior is unmatched with the two tone leather, hands free functionality, sun roof, sliding rear glass, and more amenities than I need but love having. Very capable off road and an absolute blast to drive. Most miles are highway but the vehicle is very smooth on pavement and surprisingly quiet despite the 35 inch all terrain tire. Very consistent gas mileage averaging about 13+ combined since I bought it.
