Awesome Ford Truck
The 2011 Ford F250 6.2 Liter FX4 Lariat Super Crew Longbed truck is awesome. If you want big, this is it. This truck has a great looking interior, including black leather. Its an awesome truck in that it has the capability of carrying and entire house, and still be good to carry the family in. If you do not mind the gas mileage, which is something you should consider before purchase, it is a great truck.
F250 6.2L Lariat
Great truck for towing and Lariat model is the only way to go with the F series trucks. Pulls my 12000lb toy hauler like its not even there so glad to trade in my 1/2ton for the F250. Great gas milage too and better my Titan in city/hwy mpg. Had a hard shift issue with transmission and Ford has a psb notice for it which they fixed in 2x days. Very happy with the fix and Ford.
Love my F250!
I was looking for a Ford crew cab (4 door) with an 8 foot box with plenty of room for my ATV and gear. I also tow a boat in the summer and a large box trailer to summer camp for my sons Boy Scouts troop. There are NOT a lot of used trucks with a crew cab AND the 8' bed. They mainly are available in the F250 which is a little overkill for my needs but I was game. I found my F250 out of state on Carmax.com and had it delivered to my local dealer. I was hooked. My XLT model also has 4X4 so that was an added bonus. The 6.2L gas motor gets 12-14 MPG with 100% real gas, which is almost as good as the 5.4 Triton that was in my old F150. The 6 speed transmission also contributes to the better gas mileage. I personally chose gas over diesel just for the cheaper repair costs. I have already used the 4X4 to get my tractor unstuck in a mud hole. It has great torque! The ride is a little on the stiff side for just normal street driving but the interior is comfortable. The AC works great especially since we just had a HOT summer here in Oklahoma. It has a long wheelbase whch can be a bit tricky to park in a small lot but that is a minor inconvience. The F250 is not just a work truck, it makes a great private vehicle.
