Transmission: Automatic Color:Green Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.133 reviews) I had to have the transmission replaced within a year of purchase. Evidently, the transmission is a problem with this model. Fortunately, the car was under factory warranty and I've had to have several issues fixed. The transmission was replaced, the passenger door was replaced because it wouldn't close and is due to a recall. Ford currently does not have a replacement for the doors and simply replaces it with another faulty door that may eventually need replacing again. Water leaked through the trunk and filled the spare tire compartment with water. The only two pros about this car is the gas mileage and the fact that it silences any incoming text messages so that you're not distracted.

Terrible investment, terrible car

I wish i could give this car negative stars. This has been the worst car experience of my life. All the reviews i read and all the research i did on this car fell through almost immediately. I wanted to get a vehicle with great gas mileage, a decent amount of cargo space, and inexpensive without being cheap. All the reviews pointed to this car. I bought this car in June 2014. Since then, I have replaced the CLUTCH of an automatic car 4 TIMES through the recall program. The car has a manual transmission controlled by a computer that is supposed to shift itself to save on fuel. I get a recall notice about every 6 monthS: clutch, latches, transmission, computer, etc. It feels unsafe to drive this car. It makes me worried!

Best-handling car I've ever driven

Over 43 years of buying cars, and this is the best-handling car I've ever driven (including two Mazda Miatas). when your right foot goes to the floor, the road had better be clear because you will be gone! The brakes are right-now direct, and the features are outstanding. Get the Recaro seats on the ST and it's like you're velcro'd into the car (which is really good when cornering hard). The 6-speed manual shifts like a knife through honey. Bottom line, if you like to drive, get a Fiesta ST.
