Transmission: Automatic Color:Red Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.633 reviews) Pros: good ride, good power, lots of room, flexible seating, good gas milage Cons: rattles, noisy tires/suspension, torque-steer I do like my Flex - I like the way it drives, with more than adequate power and a good ride for a large heavy SUV. I enjoy relatively good gas milage (20 around town, 25 highway), considering this is a large, heavy, square vehicle. Visibility is good, seats are supportive and comfortable, climate control works very well without being intrusive. It does have a couple of irritating rattles at low speeds, which I have not been able to isolate thus far. The OEM tires seem to be very "hard" and very noisy on most road surfaces. There is a low-speed hum from either the transmission or one of the front axle bearings that will no doubt require repair or replacement at some future point. With all that, I am very pleased with the Flex - it's a great family hauler and a viable substitute for the standard "soccer-mom" minivan.

Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.633 reviews) I analyzed several modes of transportation for my surf trips and taking Grandsons around town. The 2011 SEL Ford Flex met my spec's, the bells and whistles are useful and the quality of construction was very good. Driveability around town & tight spaces takes a cautionary attitude with parking bay approach and exit a concern due to its length (but I knew that from my evaluation prior to purchase). On the interstates and at or above the speed limit it is a great platform; smooth and solid. Added Thule roof racks to the factory installed siderails and a Hitch Tite towing unit for my Thule Bike carrier. The only critical comment; the shift indicator should be in a heads up display in front of the driver. Having to look down to make sure of your gear selection is a distraction.

Flex Hits the Mark for Family of Six!

We had an old Astro van and were reluctant to give it up because it fit the needs of our family of six very well. Moving over to the Flex has been a great experience. Although we gave up some cargo and seating room, we are really pleased with the great layout and features of this car. The eco-boost engine and AWD makes it very capable of towing our 19.5', 2,700 lb boat. It is very powerful and handles much more nimbly than a van ever will.

I love my car!!!!

I had my doubts about getting a Ford because we have always bought Toyotas and Hondas and they have lasted us well. However I fell in love with the Ford flex, so did my husband. It is one of the best looking cars that I've seen in a long time! I love that there are sunroofs all the way to the back. Low road noise, not sure what those other reviews are talking about that say it's loud, I disagree. Very smooth ride. Extremely comfortable! We travel a lot going down to Disneyland and up Northern California and are always very comfortable on our road trips. We have the titanium package so everything folds down with the push of a button. Even when I have to put the kids in the way back it is very easy. I love my car!!!!

Ford Flex

We bought our Flex after having a second child and not ready to move into a minivan. We absolutely love this vehicle. The ride is smooth and we have all the bells & whistles. Would recommend this car to anyone! The only downside is there is not a whole lot of cargo room when the third row is up, but it's deep and fits our big stroller just fine. The baby is now in an umbrella stroller and there's plenty of room for groceries. My 8 year old loves it too. He draws pictures of us in the flex going down the road. He loves to give the Sync commands to play his favorite music. Waited a long time to buy something new (9 years). It was soo worth the wait!
