Transmission: Automatic Color:Silver Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.813 reviews) I've traveled as a consultant for >20 years and have rented countless cars. The Flex is one of my favorites. The Flex is the quietest and smoothest SUV type vehicle made. Friends of mine have the Lexus, Mercedes and Range Rover SUVs and I would take the Flex Limited series over any of those. Hopefully it's as reliable as my 2000 mercury Sable; it has 170000 miles on it and I've only had regular maintenance done to it.

Love this car so much.

I can't say enough great things about this vehicle. It has great styling and wonderful features, is a very comfortable ride (even for back and third seat passengers) and offers flexibility in seating arrangement and cargo room. For a car its size it still gets decent gas mileage in town and on the highway. It's solid and dependable and I love it all over again every time I drive it. Get lots of questions from other drivers who want to know what it is!

Love it

Never thought I would ever drive let alone own a Ford anything. Bought this used. After test driving one with a the turbo engine, I had to have that feature. Roomy, comfortable, stylish, reliable, and very functional family wagon. Not great on gas mileage, but not that bad either (realistic 18mpg avg - AWD, turbo). Backup camera is essential; I wish they had it on the front as well. Opt for all of the bells and whistles, you'll be glad you did. The SYNC function could be better (maybe more frequent software updates) and I'd like to increase the harddrive size (10GB) on the jukebox feature, but at 50K miles with no issues regarding performance or maintenance, it's a great value. I'm quite happy.

Comfort Monger

The interior styling on this 2012 Flex was an immediate draw. What a break from the hulking interiors so common in most SUVs. There is plenty of room for tall or oversize passengers. The adjustable seats are perfect for getting into your comfort zone. Second nature handling was quite a surprise from my previous stiff steering experiences with Fords. For improvements, I would like to see better gas mileage, even if the vehicle had to be a bit shorter; better hill climbing performance and a place to store my purse besides the passenger areas. The center console is a comfy armrest but of little value in storing items. All-in-all, I really enjoy this vehicle as the perfect ride, but want more in performance.
