Ford Focus

2009 Ford Focus momof4plus - Houston, TX 04/19/2011

I never thought I would buy a Ford, but I did and I am so glad that I did. I recently purchased a 2009 Ford Focus. It is very comfortable. It has alot of leg room. I am very happy with my purchase and I hope you will consider a Ford Focus as your next vehicle.

2009 Ford Focus Bj - Alabama 06/29/2012

The car was a good deal for my money. Gas efficient good mileage. But as time went on I noticed the cruise control didn't work and most of all after the car has sat over a period of time the gears stuck, it's a 5 speed, therefore when I am ready to drive to work I am unable to put it in reverse and changing the gears are very difficult. I was told it was due to it being in a small space. But that's unsatisfactory to me so now I have to pay to have it repaired. I don't know if it's a flaw in these cars but I won't purchase another ford vehicle. For now this one will have to do for me.

Great starter/commuter car.

2009 Ford Focus Nolen Purvis - Loma Linda, CA 09/28/2016

As the title states, the car is great for a first time owner, or if you just need a daily driver, regardless of distance. In fact, I appreciate this car so much that I am going to purchase my 2nd one this weekend as the first was in a bad accident. Overall averages including short trips to grocery store, I was getting about 38mpg in a manual transmission. The gear box is tough enough, and the parts are cheap. If you buy this car around 60k miles, be prepared to replace the struts, and maybe tires. These went out within 9k miles. To those saying the car's interior lights don't come on when opening a door, this is actually false. The dimmer switch by your headlight switch needs to be maxed out. One con would be power with a fully loaded car.
