Vehicle Review: 4.561 (740 reviews) "This 2005 model is still in good shape for its age/milage and has taken me on one cross-country trip already without issues. Yes, acceleration has the same lag issues as most cars aimed at the basic commuter market, but it gets you onto the highway handily enough once it gets going."

Transmission: Automatic Color: Silver Avg. Vehicle Review: 4.561 (740 reviews) "This car is a lot of fun to drive. I never really considered buying a Ford (I've owned mostly Hondas in the past), but I needed 4 doors. My previous vehicle was a 2005 Civic SI Hatchback. I loved that car. The Focus handles very well, and goes fast when you want it to. The additional gauges on the dashboard seem a bit unnecessary and are a little distracting."

Transmission: Automatic Color: Black Avg. Vehicle Review: 4.561 (740 reviews) "I have been driving Mustangs for the past 16 years and with the birth of our 2nd child the backseat was beginning to get crowded. It was time to retire the '05 v-6 Mustang in favor for something that had a bit more room in the back. While the ST does not have as much room as our Edge, it does the job. This car handles well on the road and is very fun to drive. While it is a major change going back to front wheel drive, this car has delivered. The dash does have a heavier rubber type of finish that hopefully will keep it from cracking years down the road. The interior is upgraded from that of the standard Focus and the 6 speed gearbox snaps into the next gear as you tear down the road. YouTube has several good reviews."

Good basic car so far

2005 Ford Focus D C Johnson - Harrisonburg, VA 03/28/2016

This 2005 model is still in good shape for its age/milage and has taken me on one cross-country trip already without issues. Yes, acceleration has the same lag issues as most cars aimed at the basic commuter market, but it gets you onto the highway handily enough once it gets going.

Fun to drive.

From Mustang to Focus ST
