I just love my Ford Freestyle. I can haul all the kids around and have plenty of cargo space. Flipping the seats around is a breeze (no more struggling them out like on my old van). I would definitly recommend this car.
I bought my car on 5/15 and it is 6/29 and it has been in the shop 3x. I have not had the car in my possession more than 19 days. Sensor this, torque this, flex coupling that. Brakes, brakes, sensor. ARGGHHHHHH. DO NOT BUY DO NOT BUY DO NOT BUY! If you feel the urge start complaining in the 1st 5 days so you have an out!!!!!!!! Do not wait 10 days like I DID!
We bought our crossover in May and it has yet to disappoint us. We love it and most of all our children love it. They can now take a friend along with them and we can also fit our 2 dogs as well and yet there is even still room for luggage! I was very pleased with the interior layout which is important since I am the primary driver. Everything is within reach. Storage is abundant, as well as having numerous cup holders which was always the problem in our previous car. We have the optional captians chairs in the back and it has not only cup holders but also a console box for the kids to store the head phones for the DVD player, all of their gaming stuff, and with room to spare. The gas milage has been for us steady at 19mpg. We use our cruise control whenever possible and we are also not heavy footed on the gas or brakes unless need be and therefore we conserve gas. One complaint that I have is that the stereo does not shuffle all tracks only the CD in current play. That drives me crazy. We also had installed through Best Buy their version of the Ford "Trip Tunes" which is the component run through the auxillary that will play MP3 players. If you love music and want to be able to listen to your IPod and be able to control it through the steeringwheel and not have any radio interferance as with using other types of players. We are very impressed with our "new" crossover.
