Customer Review Summary for Ford Freestyle
Best car I've ever owned
2006 Ford FreestyleKevin - Rolling Meadows, IL04/09/2015
Tons of room this is for people that need a minivan but don't want a minivan. All wheel drive is great, this is the vehicle I take snowboarding . My vehicle has 101k and runs great. My maintenance cost per moth is about $115.00 can't beat that amount for this much car
There's a reason they discontinued it!
2007 Ford FreestyleCassandra - Asheville, NC07/28/2014
At 75,000 miles we have had (or need) to fix several problems on this vehicle. A lot of little things that cost a lot of money.
-The A/C condenser has had to be replaced.
-In cold weather, there is a shrill screeching sound at start up
-Power steering needs to be fixed
-Power windows lost power
-Motor Mount was cracked and has been fixed
-Heated seats lost power, had to fix
Pros & Cons to this car:
There are three rows of seating, however it is not a lot of space for the 3rd row. A full size adult does not have enough leg room.
We have three of the four seat holding carseats, and there is almost not enough room for their legs.
The back seats are easy to fold down, and make convenient storage.
There are lots of cup holders.
Spotting seat covers!

The only thing I really don't like about the Ford Freestyle is the color and fabric of the seat covers!! Everything leaves spots, even a drop of water. They are solid beige, a really bad choice for seat covers! There are already many spots just from normal wear, no kids, or pets. I will have to buy seat covers soon!
Our former Ford Windstar van seats were great, multicolored beige and blue, no spotting after nine years of being used a lot...grandkids, too. Ford needs to use more planning for seat covers in the future!
The Ford F-150, the top-searched vehicle on carmax.com in 2017, has a heck-raising version called the SVT Raptor. Love it or not, the Ford Raptor is impossible to ignore. It rules the road (and dirt, mud, sand, etc.)!
SUVs are known for not just their seating and towing capacity, but their versatile cargo space and capable performance. In the market for a midsize SUV? Check out three of our best-selling midsize SUVs from January through September 2017.
Many drivers who want a best crossover seek out one of the popular vehicles on this list. Why the big deal about a crossover SUV? It’s the solid mix of roomy interior and a smaller size that fits in plenty of parking spaces.
