I've wanted a gen 3 fusion since it came out & finally I was in a position to purchase one. The pros IMO are all the features of my titanium trim package (heated/cooled seats, heated steering wheel, navigation, Sony sound system, etc..). I also love the turbo, it's so much more zippier than my previous car. I only have a few cons, the biggest being the interior. The glossy texture is VERY prone to scratches & shows dirt & dust. Another minor gripe is the gas mileage. I am currently at 24.6 mpg & I commute on the freeway to work 5 days a week. Whenever? I am just driving around on the streets I average 19 mpg. This is only slightly better then my previous car, & one of the reasons I wanted a new car. Since my car has a turbo, its a small gripe.
Wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I have been very happy with my decision to buy this car. With my 20 mile commute, I generally buy gas only once per month, or less. I have access to an electrical outlet at work, which helps. Understand that when you own this car, you have to be willing to plug it in every time possible in order to recharge the battery, which takes about 6 hours. Increase in electric bills has not been significant. I wish the interior included an additional closed unit in the front center console for storage. Otherwise, the interior is nice. Legroom in the back seat is lacking, but not an issue for me generally. LOVE the bluetooth!
Overall, we love this car. It's very comfortable, has all the mod-cons that we would ever want (especially heated seats, good A/C, nice sound system, back-up camera, and a sunroof), lots of room, and easy on fuel. LOVE the pre-sets for the driver's seat since this car is driven by my daughter and me as well as my wife. We each have preset stored so there's no more grousing about "who moved the seat?" Very solid car - when you close the doors it sounds like a car and not a tin can. Huge trunk. Drives nicely and is very quiet on the road (although the brakes are quite a bit more sensitive than what I'm used to in my truck).
