This car is solid. We used Insurance money from a wreck to put a down payment on this car (about 35%). It was a great option. I'm 6'4" and have long legs, and this car has a lot of leg room for the driver or the passenger. When I move the seat all the way back, people can still sit behind me. The trunk is a little smaller than our previous car (Toyota Avalon), but it is plenty big enough for us. It would comfortably fit 2 large suitcases and some smaller bags. It handles very well and brakes smoothly. The AC/Heater work very well, and I enjoy the temperature control options. We get about 25 MPG in the city and well over 30 on the Highway. It's also the first car I've owned with Bluetooth Audio, so piping in music/calls from a phone is easy.
I have had my Fusion going on about 2 months and am absolutely in love with it! i got all the bells and whistles so please take that into account when reading this review. However the sound system is something out of a 50K Jaguar it is Surreal at times, i have the V6 version which is more then enough power (230HP) for a 4 dr sedan. the seats are very comfortable and i think even better then the newer models (roommate has one) the navigation is ok, awesome features but not very up-gradable which is unfortunate but the Ambient lighting makes up for that i guess, car is better then i could have expected and i would do it again in a heart beat. however she most definetely prefers 93 over 87 the drive difference is significant.
I love my new Ford Fusion. It has a lot of trunk space and my 6'5" husband can fit comfortably in the back seat (can't say that about many cars this size). The only issue I have had is that I am shorter and the cup holders and the storage compartment in the console between the seats are not in a comfortable place for me. However, the gas mileage is great and I really enjoy driving it.
