Reviews for 2009 Ford Fusion
50 years and counting
I last had a Ford from 1956 to 1962. Since then have had Olds, Dodge, Buick and a Chevie Impala. This 2009 Fusion is very nice, silvery-tan color. Things I like about it are easy smooth driving, great space for luggage, hook to hold driver's floor mat in place, good gas mileage, Sirius XM radio and space for 6 CDs. Things I don't like are driver's armrest too low and too short, rather complicated to program multiple stations on the radio, stations keep flipping to another all by themselves, space taken away by floor-board console so I have only 5 seats, gear shift and brake lever grab purse and interfere when lifting purse from passenger seat to try to exit driver's door, no "logo" or other marker like my Impalas which I used to find my last car in crowded parking lots. All my complaints will probably lessen with time and usage as I have only had the car 3 weeks.
Love my Fusion
I really love my car. I think I made a wise choice. The only reason for the performance rating is the City MPG is only 17.5 and I do quite a bit of city driving. I don't drive every day either so I do have a reasonable gap between fill ups. The other performance issue is that BP Amoco fuel is recommended and that's the highest priced gasoline around. I tried other (cheaper) brands and didn't get the same level of "get up & go". I am proud to support the Ford brand!!!
i love this car, its comfortable, has great gas mileage, nice car to drive,
