Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (5 reviews) Although it doesn't look like much on the outside, this little rocket will push you around any street or highway you want to go. If you are a 12 mile Round Trip commuter, you will love this, as you can plug in at any 110 volt plug and charge overnight. A charge will give you around 12 miles. You can expect 36 mpg overall around 65 mph. I drive interstates and it will drive well at 75 and the seats/cockpit make the experience good for about 4 hours. Very touchy brakes, but you get used to that. Storage room is adequate if you fold the back seats down flat. It doesn't have a spare tire, but a fix-a-flat kit so that is a definite minus.

Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (5 reviews) I enjoy the sportiness of the Escape! The hatchback area is plenty of room for all of our gear! Mileage on the highway is pretty good - around 29 mpg. In the traffic of town, it is down to about 20 mpg (I was hoping for better but it is traffic, after all.) The only draw back of our Escape is the lack of direction on the AC vents, it's either in your face on up to the ceiling. The oil change was rather pricey, too. But, it's still a fun ride!

Pros outweigh the con's

Much Better than expected

The mileage is great for the size of the vehicle. It's comfortable for front and rear passengers. Cargo space is good, but on the narrow side. My golf clubs have to go in the long way or at an angle. The Microsoft sound system works great once you figure it out. It's quick for an economy vehicle. The "Eco-boost" lets you get on the freeway without worry.
