The Mustang is an extremely good value. If you want a legitimate sports car at a good price the Mustang delivers. Starting with the 2011 year the mustangs have received great reviews from every source that I have encountered. It's a consumer reports best buy. The quality inside and out is excellent. The only downside is something that I did not take into account. The 2011 GT is a 5.0 liter engine. When you hit the gas the engine delivers crazy power and you rocket forward. It's a blast. However, when you hit the gas that 5.0 liter engine is burning rocket fuel at an alarming rate. I fill up twice as often as I used to in my mini cooper. Hehe, ok, stop laughing. But, I decided that is just the price of glory. A GT is a rocket, and it burns up the rocket fuel. There it is. There is not help for it, and so far, I am just fine with it.
Fun car to drive, fast, sleek, and certainly a head turner. Ford put a great engine in an already great car which separates the '11 from the '10 in my opinion. The 5.0 coyote is a beast.
This 2011 Mustang GT is perhaps one of the best produced by Ford in many years. The premium package includes the SYNC software by Microsoft, wonderful for hands-free control, and coupled with a smart phone is brighter then most politicians. With a cold air intake and Rouch pipes to diminish back-pressure, it is easy to stay within speed limits in 4th. at less than 2k revs. However do not be fooled by the 15~16 milage to be had in town, this could only be true if no traffic lighs were encounted, and you were to travel in netural down hill, realistically, 12 MPG. or even less. Having said that, what a BLAST.
